The procession of the Magi includes elephants, camels. Shepherd's lambs are a symbol of innocence and humility. Their gentleness makes them sacrificial victims. They are the image of the Savior as a Good Shepherd, the image of the mystical Lamb, symbol of Redemption and its price.
