An ancestor of Marseille soap, Aleppo soap is probably the oldest bar soap. Made in Syria* for at least 2000 years thanks to a simple recipe: an olive oil base to which bay laurel oil is added. And that's all.

*Until our stock is exhausted, which will be gradually replaced by Aleppo soaps made in France.
