Incomparable, Vetyver displays its very identifiable smell: warm, woody, green, earthy, it evokes the undergrowth. A powerful and refined masculine scent at the same time.
A little history ?
Originally from South India and introduced to Réunion in 1764 by Cossigny de Palma, the cultivation of this grass really boomed from the 1920s to the 1970s. In 1826, we were already using it for Combining vetiver thatch for covering outbuildings and roots for making brushes and insecticide. The first distillation took place in 1865.

Glazing is an old and traditional manufacturing process where the action of cold allows the perfume to be fixed on superfine alcohol. The olfactory principles, essential oils or perfume compositions used in our old-fashioned iced eau de toilette are available in subtle blends to offer everyone exclusive scents, to be worn by both men and women.
