Collection: Santons of Provence

The santons of Provence are small clay figurines, very colorful, representing, in the Christmas crib, the nativity scene (the child Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, with the donkey and the ox supposed to warm the 'child with their breath), the Three Wise Men and the shepherds, as well as a whole series of small characters, representing the inhabitants of a village and their traditional profession.
