Marseille soap flakes are your best allies for home maintenance, laundry and for making your own cosmetics! They are a real alternative to chemicals.
For your homemade laundry:
Dilute a handful or 20g of chips in 1L of hot water and stir until a gel is obtained. The detergent is ready to use. Store it in a suitable bottle and shake it well before each use.
For an exfoliating soap:
In a container, pour 100ml of water over 200g of Marseille soap flakes. Melt the mixture in a bain-marie until a fluid and homogeneous mixture is obtained. Off the heat, add 4 tbsp of olive oil, 100g of honey and 4 tbsp of coffee grounds. Mix with a spatula. Pour the still hot batter into small silicone moulds. Leave to harden for 5 days. Unmold, and dry the soaps in a ventilated and dry place for at least 1 week.
